Is Railay really only accessible by boat?
Yes — Railay Peninsula has no road connection. Long-tail boats run regularly from Ao Nang and Krabi Town, and the journey is part of daily life there. We'll explain the practical side of this before recommending any Railay property.
What does the retreat service include?
Krabi and Railay Retreats are furnished, reviewed properties available for one to eight week stays. Each listing has been assessed for ventilation, views, proximity to beaches and transport, and general livability. The ฿10,000 per week rate covers the property only.
How does the long-term home search work?
We start with a conversation about what you need — duration, budget, proximity to certain areas, lifestyle considerations. From there we present a curated selection, accompany you on viewings, and help you review the lease before you commit. The one-time fee of ฿17,000 covers this entire process.
Why does tropical property need monthly attention?
Krabi's climate — high humidity, monsoon rains, coastal air — means properties left unattended develop mould, pest issues, and ventilation problems relatively quickly. Regular walkthroughs catch small concerns before they become significant ones. This is especially relevant for tenants who travel between locations.
Can I combine services?
Yes. Many clients who use the home search service also take on Tropical Stewardship once they're settled, particularly if they travel frequently. Get in touch and we can discuss what makes sense for your situation.
What's the best time of year to be in Krabi?
November through April is generally dry and calm — the peak season for beaches and outdoor activities. May through October brings the southwest monsoon: heavier rains, rougher seas, and lower tourist numbers. Some people find the quiet season more appealing. We'll give you a clear picture of what to expect at any time of year.
